The Highland Council has not yet responded to our concerns regarding the proposed redundancy of classroom assistants. I am currently preparing a formal letter to address how these cuts will negatively impact the quality of education for our children.

Keep them in the schools. it is a vital service for the kids that need extra attention.
Absolute disgrace. the council is cutting corners in the wrong places again.
My son gets so much help from his classroom assistant. taking them away is going to ruin his confidence at school. please rethink this.
These classrooms will be impossible to manage without them. the teachers are already drowning as it is.
I worked as an assistant for years and know how much stress the teachers are under without help. stop this now.

BAD MOVE. our kids deserve better support than this.
