Causes financial hardship for parents. Creates every Wednesday afternoon of empty hours for our kids. No accountability to families for teacher time during these hours. How does this improve the quality of our schools?
School board voted on EVERY Wednesday early dismissal without communication to parent community for such an impactful and financial hardship.

Attend September 10 school board meeting, 7 pm District Office, 20450 Forrest Hills Drive. Meeting may be moved to Redwood School Library to accomodate parent attendees. Check this petition for details.
This issue came up 6 years ago and was voted down by the school board. A compromise of 14 early dismissal days was reached and has been in effect the last 6 years. This year the school board voted to increase early dismissal days from 14 to 34 without communicating with parent community.
