Parents - Let your voice be heard. Attend September 10 school board meeting, 7 pm District Office, 20450 Forrest Hills Drive. Meeting may be moved to Redwood School Library to accomodate parent attendees. Check this petition for details. This issue came up 6 years ago and was voted down by the school board. A compromise of 14 early dismissal days was reached and has been in effect the last 6 years. This year the school board voted to increase early dismissal days from 14 to 34 without communicating with parent community.

34 days is way too much. kids are losing hours of learning and parents are scrambling to cover the gaps. Keep it how it worked before.

Are they crazy? I work full time and this is gonna cost me a fortune in childcare every single week. Need to listen to the people who pay the taxes
