We, the working parents of the NEST Afterschool Program, feel that there are far too many Rapid Dismissal days (10!) in the school year. Our children deserve to attend the afterschool programs that we paid for, and it is a hardship on us working parents to scramble for alternative arrangements.
Please consider eliminating the non-sensical Rapid Dismissal days before Rosh Hashanah, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Mid-Winter break and Spring Break.

Seeing the momentum grow behind this struggle is honestly draining yet validating. It confirms that I am not the only one drowning under the stress of these constant schedule changes. We are exhausted by the scramble but we are not stopping now.

so tired of scrambling for childcare every other week. enough is enough.
10 days is way too many. I cant keep taking time off work to pick my kid up early. its just not fair to us.
Ridiculous. We paid for a full year of care and expect to get it. Fix this schedule!
Need consistency for my son and my work schedule. Its a total nightmare trying to find sitters for these random days off.
Hard to keep my job when the school keeps sending them home early. Parents cant just leave work whenever.
