The massive momentum behind this movement proves that Hazel Green refuses to let corporate giants steamroll our local economy. Wal-Mart executives think they can just walk into our backyard and kill off our small businesses without a fight but they are dead wrong.

People who want to stop the Hazel green Walmart are only interested in them selves What about the 200 jobs, what about the the hundreds of people who wish to shop there?

If you're trying to snare Fayetteville commuters, the north side would be a better choice. Hazel Green does not need this type of commerce. The residents prefer a quiet lifestyle to a convenient commerce arena, which is why many moved from Huntsville to the country in the first place.

Traffic on 231 is already a nightmare during rush hour. Adding a superstore right there is just going to make it impossible to get home after work. Keep that stuff in huntsville and leave us alone.
