Tolls are just another hidden tax, in Canada we are taxed upwards of 55% and need to work till the middle of June for the tax man before making a single cent for our families.

When you calculate annual tolls for a lot of commuters. an additional $1200 plus is a huge additional tax burden!! We need more accountability on Govt
I'd rather pay higher taxes for all the services I want than this continual, selective nickel and diming. There is no sense in having low taxes if you don't bring in enough for the services we need. I'd also like to see substantial, concrete penalties for governments who continually waste our precious tax dollars by hiring their friends and signing stupid contracts that rip us off!
Everyone in the province benifits from all our infrastructure. We should all pay. Tolls just let the politicians off the hook of creating the line item in thier budget.
as a commuter, I am now not able to afford to visit my family who live across the Port Mann Bridge. This bridge separates families and friends from each other. Whatever happened to FAMILIES FIRST
I'm still trying to figure out why drivers have to pay 3 times in order to use a bridge. We pay Provincial taxes, gas taxes and the toll to use a tolled bridge. And why are gas taxes being diverted to transit instead of what they were intended for….roads and bridges.
Taxes and tolls, struggling to make it as is, taxes and tolls are killing us.

There is no reasonable transit alternative from Maple Ridge to Langley. 1.5 hours minimum commute each way. Yet I pay transit taxes, gas taxes, carbon taxes and now $150 a month for tolls? I have nothing left!
