Our once quiet suburb of Beacon Bay had become a haven for speedsters and drag racers, putting our children and pets in danger. Speed bumps or permanent speed cameras are the only way that this behavior can be curbed. The main roads that are affected are Quenera Drive, Beaconhurst Drive, Edge Road and Coad Road.
