Attention all Burgundy Estate residents.
This petition's goal is to bring our concerns to the property administrator's attention.
From what I gathered on the Facebook page, there are 2 main concerns regarding the traffic in Burgundy Estate.
1. The amount of cars traveling through Burgundy estate via Sienna Dr just to skip all the traffic lights down both Plattekloof road and Burgundy drive is too high. We even have 18 wheelers barreling down Sienna Dr on a daily basis. Which is illegal firstly and secondly they make a lot of noise. Talking about noise, late Saturday nights seems to be turning Sienna Dr into a drag strip/race track. I cannot remember the last time I spent a Saturday evening at home without hearing tires being spun around corners.
2. Reckless driving in complexes are also another big issue. Some people seem to have little to no respect for other people that share the same complex with them. Cars revving and hooting seem to be the norm during the early hours of Sunday mornings.
We need the property administrators to act on this because I believe if nothing is going to be done about this, this place is going to lose a lot of good residents.

I have sent a formal request for a traffic impact assessment to the property administrator. They have acknowledged receipt of the document and I expect a response regarding a site visit by the end of the week.

I live on Sienna Drive and cars come speeding down this road at a crazy speed. This is a residential area where resident enjoy jogging and cycling. People should have to fear for their safety. Please put speed bumps in the high traffic roads like sienna drive and carmine drive.
Speed bumps need to be put in both sienna and viridian. The patrons from Espana speed down viridian towards Burgundy Drive
We need this urgently before someone is killed. Also on Viridian street PLEASE!
Yes I agree fully these people just don't have respect for the next person. The motor bikes and cars flies down these roads late at night and during the day speedbumbs is a list !!!!
I would like to see speedbumps on roads with high traffic volume (burgundy drive and viridian street especially!)

Please do i stay in Sienna drive @the Palm complex and i think ive been almost bumped 10times for people speeding down the road. Im pregnant and every day i fear someone will bump into me. The people dont care about your life.
