The silence from the office of the President is deafening but it only confirms why we started this. I have been spending my nights collecting stories from veterans who need help far more than they need a display of hardware.

It's BS that Trump wants this parade but has trouble finding money for SS, food stamps, HUD, education, etc
We have veterans that are homeless &getting their programs cut. Focus on their needs not a costly military parade to build one's ego.
The only reason for this is to make our troops look like circus animals. It is humiliating, degrading, and anti-American. I will be there to protest.
20 year career veteran, no parade! Spend the money where it’s needed and not on some ridiculous ego parade!
DJT doesn't NEED a MILITARY PARADE!! We are "IN SSOOO MUCH DEBT" Why are the #CONGRESS ALLOWING THIS!? INSULT to PEOPLE who ACTUALLY SERVED!!
There would be a much better use of the money he wants to spend for this "display" of his "manhood"
Is our President a 9 year old boy? It would seem so. To be so selfish & self-centered that he would stop the normal traffic in our nation's Capital for his own childish wants is the actions of a very selfish & immature person. To tie up the traffic, police & other security personnel is wasteful & very self centered. Also while everyone is focused on the parade what kind of attack is it going to attracted? With some of the most important people either in or watching this spectacule it will set up a dangerous target for those who would wish our nation harm, either domestic or foreign. Also what will this parade cost in terms of time, talent & money? When there is talk of reducing many governmental functions can we & do we dare have an extravaganza? It is wasteful & frivolous. Save the tax payers time, money & the danger of having an attack in our nations capital.

Our own veterans want the cash it'll take to finance this parade to be put to better use housing & treating homeless vets.#StopTheParade
