Stop the development of land to the North of Chestnut Drive, Claverham.

The impact that 100+ houses would have on Claverham both in the community and environmentally is unthinkable.
The field where the proposed housing development is, floods every year. Where would all this water go?
The local schools from what I understand are full or near full.
The GP services are also struggling with the numbers they have. This is reflected in the fact that you can't get a routine appointment for your own GP for nearly two weeks.
Chestnut Drive is in a terrible state and is awaiting repair. Its been like this for two years since the last snow.
A proposal of 100+ houses would change the entire dynamic or our community and have a huge impact on the infrastructure of your village.

im still getting messages from neighbors about the state of chestnut drive and the flooding issues on the field. it is honestly so frustrating to see how little our local services can handle right now. we are keeping the pressure on the council because they need to understand that this development definitely isnt the right move for us.

im honestly amazed by how many people joined this effort so quickly. it really shows that our community sees the same problems with the chestnut drive plans that i do.

The infrastructure, (GP's, Schooling, Road network) is already passed capacity and the water and sewerage is completely overflowing, a completely and utterly unsuitable area, which would cause dangerous situations for children and others alike with this sort of increase trying to use roads and services.
100 new houses will put pressure on our local schools, the GP's surgery and the local environment. These factors have been totally ignored by the developers. Please stop these people from ruining our locality to line their own pockets.
The fields are completely unsuitable for development as they are wet most of the year and often flood. They are also a green space in the middle of the village, which are used by many locals as part of the local walks.The infrastructure would be unable to cope with such a large increase in population.
Such an impact on the village can't be good particularly if the infrastructure isn't there to support the added numbers of people, cars services and so on. Also, as a conservationist beekeeper I find the destruction of hedgerows, trees & wild flowers in the field some thing of a blow for insects.
The only acces to this field is by very narrow lanes with dangerous bends and no pavements but lined with houses. The previous owners tried for years to have this field re-designated but were always turned down by NSC. The situation has not improved. Rather, traffic is now worse.
Country villages like Claverham should not be spoiled by fast buck seeking developments. This field floods easily.
This is ridiculous, why this is even being discussed is beyond me!
