We the undersigned draw the attention to the mayor,council, city of Cranbrook The Ministry of forest lands and resource operations and ministry of environment British Columbia to the following:
That, we, the undersigned disagree with the use of municipal funds for the culling of urban deer we find it to be wasteful, fiscally irresponsible and inhumane.
Therefore, we call upon the mayor and the Council of the city of Cranbrook to seize and desist with the culling of deer and to instead utilize municipal and provincial funds to,in a responsible manner, use other nonlethal methods to reduce conflict with deer and other urban wildlife.

We should be able to at least try relocation before killing them.Our mule deer in the back country are in the worst shape i have ever seen in my life as a hunter and yet we continue to kill prime breeding stock in town.How pathetic
There is currently a deer in one of the live traps right now on 11th. Not the way to go about this !!! There are alternatives !
Humans are the problem. EDUCATION is key. They are NOT bambi, and they need to be chased out like they were years ago when there was never a problem. People need to stop letting them feel comfortable and they will leave.
this is outrageous they want to kill off the few mule deer we have left. cranbrook has been winter range for the deer since existance of the town.
There's enough people and resources in town to try and relocate these deer! We do it with elk, sheep, even caribou. So don't tell me we can't do it with deer! This city is taking the easy way out and this town isn't going to stand by and watch this happen any more.
This happened a few years back and only continued to divide the town. Put up fencing, deterents, or try sterilisation there are so many other ways. A huge waste of tax money and it is disgusting and cruel.
Stop please animals with all fires have a hard time to survive

Deer populations are an all time low. This is rediculous. I will donate my time, truck, trailer and my wife's time also for transplant.
