I am a teacher and this is completely unacceptable behavior. I also have an autistic son and would never trust my child with someone who now had this reputation. What is this district thinking? Its unacceptable behavior. Obviously, their students safety isnt their highest priority.
She should have been charged with assault. If the child had hit the teacher they would have been.
The whole russellville school district is screwed up, they allow children to be beaten in the bus to the point of concussions and do nothing about it, they keep teachers that abuse special needs children. They allow bullies to get away with everything they do!
My daughter was in her class. We have switched schools. Sad we're the ones that had to leave.
As a parent of an ASD child I find it disgusting that this person is allowed to work in a position of authority over and trust of children. How many hits have gone unnoticed prior to this report??
she should be in jail.

If she can't control herself in a teaching environment any better than that, why is she employed? Who else has she abused? Who will be abused by her in the future? From a liability perspective alone, I can't believe russellville hasn't fired her already.
