The schools now have these rooms they like to call "Isolation rooms", for misbehaved children. Some of these rooms have padded walls, a mat on the floor, and several locks on a steal door.

The worst part is.... it's legal!

These teachers are not psychologists... these kids have not had a psychological evaluation done... and they even place autistic kids in there causing more damage to their mental health issues.

In my opinion, if a child is acting out, there is a reason. It could be family life, personal stress, mental health issues, ADHD, and many more reasons.

These teachers will restrain your child if need be, and force him or her I to the room for some "quiet time".

I'm disgusted.

As parents, we need to protect our kids. They are our future.

The scale of this response confirms that regional stakeholders must address our policy concerns immediately. I am finalizing a formal request for a meeting with the school board to present these complaints as a collective formal grievance.

This is not something they need in schools this will not teach students anything that has nothing to do with study's or health like that would be a prison for a child the way it sounds, if this was the case in schools I would end up suggesting home schooling.

Not happy no kid deserves this no matter the temper deal with it like a grown up not a police officer trying to lock up a murderer. This makes me sick to my stomach.

These schools are sick for thinking this is ok to do to children. Maybe those adults need to be locked in an "isolation room" with no windows and just a blanket on the floor and left there.
