This is a petition to stop isolation in special education classrooms! Throughout recent years there has been terrible things that have happened to disabled people who have been isolated. This is a huge step to stop that now!

I have been reading your messages about the fear and trauma these rooms cause for kids like my brother. It is clear that the current system is failing our students and ignoring their basic human needs. I am currently working on a proposal to present to the school board so they can no longer look away from this reality.

Seeing this momentum grow brings me so much hope because I think of my own sister every time a new person joins the cause. This support proves that people are finally ready to confront the reality of how these rooms are being used.
