STOP Shameful tax levy on Belgian Nazi slave labourers' pensions !
Most of you seem to care by either wearing a poppy on November 11th but right now, by simply adding your name to this petition, you could help to make a huge difference for some Belgian war vets and their widows who are RIGHT NOW being demanded by the German government to pay a tax on a war pension they have received (and they have only since 2001...) by the German government for having been sent to forced Nazi work camps!
Belgian's finance minister Didier Reynders MUST step in and demand that this shameful and totally unnecessary tax be abolished.
If nobody seps in to help these people, they will have to pay back a few hundred euros even (as they're being demanded to pay back taxes since 2005!). It's just insane - almost criminel even considering what these people have endured in their lifetime and the stress and trauma they have had to live with for decades ever since. This will mean far more than just wearing a poppy once a year. You'll be helping these people and hopefully blocking the German government's SHAMEFUL initiative and allowing these people to live the rest of what's left of their lives in peace.

This is honestly disgusting. These people already suffered enough in the camps and now the gov wants to take their money back? Leave them alone.
