- Phone safes are unsafe, unethical and inconvenient. They increase anxiety and make us feel like prisoners. As students it is our right to have access to online communication and carry our PERSONAL PROPERTY on our person.

Its mine, I paid for it. Not the school. They treat us like we are in jail or something. Total overreach.
In a world where technology is rapidly advancing and everything i need is on my phone, to lock it away is ridiculous. My schedule, school promted apps such as saturn and realtime, the ability to contact my parents should not be locked away in a safe or sealed in a pouch. If my phone is locked up, why are the teachers able to scroll at lunch, make calls and text during the day. If anything they should be teaching. Confiscation of my personal property is not ok.

What if there is an emergency and I need to call my mom? Keeping our phones in those things is just asking for trouble if something bad happens.
