This Is Not 1995 – yet our school insists we act like it. Students are banned from using them not only in class, but even during breaks, lunch, and passing periods. This extreme rule isolates us, cuts off communication with family, and punishes everyone instead of addressing real issues. An outright ban isn’t the solution — smarter, balanced policies are. This kind of power dominant control breeds distrust, frustration, and unnecessary conflict between students and teachers. Mobile phones aren't the issue here, they're just the symptom. A cold won't go away if you refuse to cough. It will just get worse. If you believe in fairness, respect, and being treated like responsible people, put your name down. Don’t live in silence — stand up for yourself and for others who feel unheard.

They just need to make their lessons more engaging and support the kids that are struggling

I find it hard to find people at break and lunch, I also need my phone to pay for lunch and stay in contact with my parents

I believe that it is wrong to completely ban phones in schools and that appropriate enforcement of the current rules in place where students should not be on their phones in classes would be adequate instead of a full ban on phones. The main issue I believe is a lack of respect for teachers from some students and a lack of care for their own education.

JUST LET US HAVE THEM AT LUNCH. Everyone uses them to check schedules and organize study groups anyway. This rule is ancient.

The school just wants to control every little thing we do. It makes no sense to take them during lunch when we should be allowed to relax. Seriously ridiculous.
