I have been hearing from so many of you who are just as frustrated as I am about losing our tradition. I am working to set up a meeting with the administration to show them exactly why this day is essential for our school community.

Seeing this kind of energy for Springfest proves I am not the only one who refuses to let them steal our best memories. I am overwhelmed by the fact that so many of you are willing to fight for this event alongside me.

This decision is pretty useless, first of all, they won't attack our school, terrorists aim at more public & obvious places (airport& metros), and so many students have worked so hard for this day. We can't live our lives in fear of being attacked by terrorists, the show must go on.
Annuler la springfest serait une grosse erreur, tous les gens qui ont mis leur énergie et leurs efforts pour organiser tout cela, ce serait injuste de l'annuler juste à cause de terroristes qui n'ont surement jamais entendu parler de notre fête j'ai pris en compte le fait que cette décision à été prise pour but de nous protéger mais nous ne pouvons pas arreter de vivre si nous voulons que Bruxelles retrouve sa normalité.
They can take different measures as previous years and make the springfest possible, or not let everybody go in the school, just for eeb3 students.
Is this what it's come to? Have the terrorists really driven us to become so afraid that we cannot even have some fun and celebrate for one single day? Surely it is a simple matter to just up the security (it is only for ONE DAY!) it is also the best day of the entire school year, surely after working hard the whole school year we deserve one day of fun? Please, PLEASE bring Springfest back!
You can't cancel springfest!!!! many people have put so much work into it. Many people have started making the dresses for the fashion show, many people had to learn hard dances,karate moves,singing for the opening ceremony!they put their own time into it! Springfest is the only good thing about school! the only thing we look forward to all year!!! First you don't want to let the S4 and S5 out at lunch and now cancel springfest... if you're concerned about our safety you should cancel school all together

I've never celebrated springfest before so i have no idea how this would be but i know a lot of people has made a big effort for this and is really excited about it and even i am, being new and not knowing what ti expect. Its so useless to cancel it. They just must have good security.
