Bus services across North Cardiff are under threat this month. The Labour Council and Labour Welsh Government have cut funding to local bus routes across the city. They are now in danger of being reduced, changed, or even cut entirely.
Craig and the local Conservatives are campaigning against cuts by the Labour Welsh Government and Council to these essential services.
I am currently compiling the accounts provided in your comments to present to the Council transport committee. We are finalizing a formal briefing document to challenge the projected withdrawal of these routes.

The volume of support has now reached a level that forces this issue onto the formal agenda for the upcoming Council transport committee meeting. We are currently finalizing our dossiers of transit data to present to the relevant cabinet members during that session.

The proposed timing of the 21 routes via Pantmawr road is hourly. The ridiculous situation is that the way they have planned it, the eastbound bus will arrive in Pantmawr road 2 minutes after the westbound bus!! They should at least try to stagger them by 30 minutes to provide a more frequent service to town!!!

I totally rely on the 86 to get me back and for work, I have a bad leg and cannot walk to the 27 bus stop. I wont be able to get into work on time if they stop this early service. Why not cut down on the services that run every few minutes rather than the more infrequent buses that leave people with no alternative

How can the Council expect to achieve 50% modal transport (between car and public transport in the outlying areas of Cardiff when there are minimal alternatives to the car !

I disagree with the changes in the buses. The changes will make it harder for me to get to and from college in the mornings. I personally think that they should take into consideration those who need to get into town by 9am and put buses on which will get me there on time and not 10-20 minutes late.

I have seen a reduction in bus services only quite recently where now. I have to use my car to go to work at the UHW as our service was cut from Thornhill I am lucky that I have a choice of transport but people solely depend on the bus and these people need looking after

As a senior citizen the bus service is a vital link for we older folk when travelling to town. The revised hourly service for Rhiwbina is totally unacceptable for older folk who rely heavily on this service for their daily travel to town, supermarkets etc.
