Stop a Proposed Residential Re-entry Center (RCC) Half-Way House on 10000 S. I-10 Service Road.

We, the undersigned concerned residents, request that Bannum, Inc., 8726 Old Country Rd 54, Suite E, New Port Richey, FL 34653 find another location for their proposed Residential Re-entry Center (RCC) Half-Way House. The proposed location at 10000 S.I-10 Service Road, corner of Read Blvd is not acceptable. Further, if allowed at 10000 S. I-10 Service Road, it would impede our ability to attract economic and retail development on Read Blvd which is one our major corridors and/or thoroughfares.

Certainly not. Security is a major concern in our community and it threatens the social and economic growth in the Post-Katrina era. We cannot afford to have potentially problematic entities to house such operations.
This proposed half-way house poses a threat to the integrity of the neighborhood and possibly the children and youngsters that live in this community.
As a long time homeowner I am vehemently opposed to putting a rentry complex in our area. Our area has become the dumping ground for any and everything that no one else wants. Enough is enough, an outstanding community is going downhill and the views of the community are going unheard.
Location, location, location!!! Bullard, Read, and Crowder should not used to attract low end retail stores or businesses that would deter high end stores from coming to the East. See if that would be tolerated on Canal Street, St. Charles Street, or Harrison Avenue.
A facility of this nature would only act to impede the much needed economic growth in this community. We need businesses that will encourage retail and residential development. Please DO NOT bring this to New Orleans East!!!

Please do not bring this into our community. This type of project is not wanted at all. Please consider bringing in a Whole Foods, family restaurant, movie theatre, bowling alley or something to actually benefit the community. We are better than this in NOE. Christina Francis Lake Bullard Homeowner
