The administration backed down and the boys are officially cleared to compete. They tried to bully these kids into false confessions but we held the line and forced them to drop these baseless suspensions. Keep a close eye on the office because we will be watching their next move.
Four young men at our school are being suspended from athletics for being accused of drinking at a party held at another students house. The school has zero evidence of this, with their only reason is intimidating the students in question by lying about knowing the whole story and offering worse punishments. This could very well cost not only team success as the Palisade High School Wrestling Team is 11-0 for the first time in school history and the Basketball Team is 6-1, but the futures of these young men as they are possibly going to lose scholarships over an incident that did not happen. Help stop us letting administration intimidate students into false claims. Guilty until proven innocent does not belong in our schools.
The Palisade High School administration is still sitting on their hands while they ruin these young men lives on nothing but rumors. I am tracking down every school board member because these cowards think they can bully students into false confessions without anyone seeing what they are doing.

This is outrageous and if Dan Bollinger is a true man he will allow the players to continue with their athletics that they have worked so hard for, along with keeping them eligible for post season awards. I’m furious

I am a victim of one of these harsh acts at Palisade High School. I am a student athlete, that was involved in an incident off of the grounds of Palisade High school and it was set into action by the Principal Dan Bollinger and the Athletic Director Greg Hawkins. I was intimidated by the principal at the school and acted out of fear into admitting to something I did not do and was not apart of. I was forced into saying I consumed a drug to get the minimum amount of suspension. I was also evicted from achieving any end of the season awards including All State and All Conference. Palisade High School teachers and administration are corrupt and this is very unfair and wrong and it needs to stop!

It’s pretty scary knowing your whole sports career can be ended off the word of someone else, and you don’t even get a chance to defend yourself.

This is disappointing in the school, right to fair trial. And on top of all let’s young people find there way. Don’t punish them, guide them away from error. Childish on the schools behalf!

There is no proof of the make athletes drinking, it’s many peoples word against word. Athletes aren’t being given the benefit of the doubt.

We got pressured into saying false truths because we were threatened with far worse punishments if we didn’t say what they wanted us to
