This is outrageous and if Dan Bollinger is a true man he will allow the players to continue with their athletics that they have worked so hard for, along with keeping them eligible for post season awards. I’m furious

The Palisade High School Principal Dan Bollinger, intimidated the high school athletes and made them admit to things they didn’t do by saying if they didn’t confess they would give the athlete a harsher suspension. There was no evidence pleaded for the athletes, and Bollinger took the words from a few students and followed through with the punishment without any evidence. Bollinger pressured the athletes and said if they did confess he would make the suspension shorter. This is very wrong and is ruining the lives and the hard work and dedication that these athletes have put into their entire lives. They work for high school athletics their entire lives and to get their achievements taken away from them because some students claimed they were doing something wrong and presented no evidence to the administration. It is wrong Mr. Bollinger and this has been happening for years at Palisade High School. It is becoming a habit for this administration and Dan Bollinger.

I am a victim of one of these harsh acts at Palisade High School. I am a student athlete, that was involved in an incident off of the grounds of Palisade High school and it was set into action by the Principal Dan Bollinger and the Athletic Director Greg Hawkins. I was intimidated by the principal at the school and acted out of fear into admitting to something I did not do and was not apart of. I was forced into saying I consumed a drug to get the minimum amount of suspension. I was also evicted from achieving any end of the season awards including All State and All Conference. Palisade High School teachers and administration are corrupt and this is very unfair and wrong and it needs to stop!

It’s pretty scary knowing your whole sports career can be ended off the word of someone else, and you don’t even get a chance to defend yourself.

this is absolutely ridiculous. First of all everyone was a teenager ones… Drinking doesn’t hurt anybody unless you decide to drive. Second, The school has no right to punish these kids for this. Academics should be separate from social life.

This is disappointing in the school, right to fair trial. And on top of all let’s young people find there way. Don’t punish them, guide them away from error. Childish on the schools behalf!
