A student was recently pulled out of Marlboro HIgh School over a false accusation of a serious crime. After the student was cleared - by multiple police visits, DFHS, and a psychologist - the school principal & administration have refused to intervene and correct the situation by saying the truth: that there was no credible threat to the school. As a result of the false accusation, the accused student has also received threats of physical harm from other students, which the school is also refusing to intervene on.

We, the people of Marlboro Community & parents & students of Marlboro High School request from the principle & school administration to announce to the student body that the student was wrongfully accused, and the school is under no credible threatand, that false accusations, bullying and slander, which do not promote a safe environment for either students or administration, will not be tolerated.

We are climbing toward the hundred mark and I really need you all to push this out to your group chats because the silence from the office is getting impossible to ignore. It feels like the momentum is finally catching some steam but if we lose speed now everything stalls out and that simply cannot happen.

The accusations without any facts or proof is getting out of hand. Students’ futures are at stake and should not be taken so lightly. All accusations should be investigated properly on both sides. Absolutely unacceptable.

There are bullying protocols. I don’t understand why the school isn’t exercising them. Sending best wishes to this child and family.

This is wrong that the principal is allowing and fostering bullying of a child, which is what this incident amounts to- legalized bullying- poor kid- bad principal!

Imagine if this was your child... he gets bullied and the school does nothing. He vents on social media at how he wishes it would all end... his words are misinterpreted, through no fault of his own, and suddenly he is a perpetrator. The school needs to take responsibility!

The school and the district need to take responsibility for mistakes. Start with admission an apology to the student, publicly. And protect the children!
