I’m tired of hearing “we can’t hire you because you have facial piercings” or “your piercings will have to come out if you want to work here”. Unless it is a safety hazard or extremely inappropriate you should be allowed to have piercings. Piercings make you who you are, they are a way of self expression. They also cost a lot of money so if you end up having to take it out there goes 100$ and now you have a scar. Let’s end discrimination against piercings in the workplace and let show everyone some self expression

TOTAL BULL. I lost a job offer for a tiny stud. It is literally just metal in my face and has zero impact on my work ethic.

its 2016 for crying out loud. my nose ring doesnt change how well I can do my job. companies need to get with the times already.
