De-funding the police would be a big mistake. The police can't function without sufficient funds. This can lead to anarchy and lawlessness. No one will stop criminals to commit heinous acts. Changing a law needs thorough examination and critical thinking and that takes time.
People in New York don't have weapons, NYC have very strict rules. Citizens of NY will be very vulnerable. Because of one bad cop in Minnesota. This is outrageous.
Please help.

Defunding the NYPD is a huge mistake! Just look at NYC's crime rate today! The people of New York should be working on removing De Blasio and Cuomo from office instead

The only reason to de-fund the police is so criminals and anarchists have free rein to do as they will. Gangs, muggers, sex offenders, child rapists etc. will be able act without fear of being caught. It is a bad idea!
