The city hasn't responded yet. Public spaces belong to everyone regardless of the hour.

The momentum is incredible. This shows how much we all value our park.

Pretty funny they want to close it down when even the cops say crime has been down in the park and elsewhere downtown lately.

Downtown is the only place people can go late at night, play their Pokémon go and walk around without getting in trouble. We pay taxes! I don't understand why we have to no be able to use what we pay for. I work a full time job and don't get any other time between work and my family responsibility! I understand everyone concerns but you could put up cameras to find out who is vandalizing our town!

All a curfew would accomplish is dispersing pokemon players into different areas. Which turns into more people in neighborhoods making suspicious person reports putting more load on pd for no reason.

There is nothing positive to do in Decatur. Pokémon Go has nothing to do with drugs, alcohol, or church. It's hard to find a neutral place like that. All kinds of people of all ages getting along in public. Why ruin it.

Decatur needs a night life. If your put a curfew on down town you might as well put a curfew on the whole town. Also as a voter any one who votes to pass this curfew I will not reelect for their seat on the board again.

Pokémon players have been joining together to protect the downtown area at night and clean up what litter we can. Our continued presence will help discourage criminals and vandals; if something does happen, with the players around it will quickly be reported to the appropriate authorities.

There is no reason to have a curfew for adults. We don't need to be treated like children.

It's a public place and should be treated as one, For those of us who work 2nd shift at places we would not have any places to go since Fairview closes at 10pm, and so does nelson park. Central park is the only place that doesn't have a curfew and those of us can go and catch and collect at the stops. I find it funny that there hasn't been a curfew all this time and then when people start going to a location and having fun, it is all of a sudden a concern? I mean nothing really happens, I have never seen a fight I mean we are straight down from the sheriff station, and there is cameras everywhere.
