Sunset Hills has proposed to change the zoning laws to accommodate cluster home developments similar to those seen in St Charles. Please sign this petition to OPPOSE this proposed change and keep the current zoning laws.
I spent the entire morning looking at those layouts for the St Charles cluster homes and honestly the way they crowd all that concrete into such a small space is just baffling. I keep hearing from neighbors who are worried about the traffic flow on our quiet streets and I think we all deserve a real answer from the zoning board before they push this through.

I really thought this might just be me shouting into the void but looking at the momentum now is honestly overwhelming. It feels like people are finally waking up to what is happening to the neighborhood and I just need everyone to keep talking about this at the grocery store or over the fence.

Please do not let Kurt Krueger decide our zoning laws. It will cause a huge traffic problem because the intersection is already used by many people from behind this area. Cluster homes will become an eyesore and cheapen the area. Single homes on 1/2 acre lots according to the zoning laws!

I am against the idea of cluster homes in Sunset Hills. This is a neighborhood community that has very little land left and those sites should be developed into single family home sites like the rest of Sunset Hills. There is no reason to sell this land or allow an owner to develop anything but single family homes with yards and normal set backs like the rest of the community.

I live next door. My dad bought the property in 1947. We love the way sunset hills looks and don’t want this next door.

Have we not learned our lessons from past mistakes? Every time we have changed zoning for something like this it has been a disaster. We don’t need this type of development in Sunset Hills and we certainly don’t need it trashing a one acre single family residential area. Keep our city beautiful.

Cluster homes are wrong for Sunset Hills and do not confirm with the comprehensive plan. “Garage centric” homes do not confirm to the diversity of our beautiful community. We need to fight these zoning changes and fight for what attracted us to Sunset Hills!

they should not destroy the land that is beautiful. this land need to to stay the same way that it was. if we make the cluster home this will make will increase the traffic that there is on the road. let not let the cluster home get built. if they do get built this will bring the surrounding houses value down.

Keep Sunset Hills beautiful. No to cookie cutter homes no matter who is building them. Keep the greenspace!
