The level of public concern regarding the safety risks of fireworks has become impossible for our local officials to ignore. This momentum confirms that our community demands a more responsible approach to summer celebrations.

The danger from fire is high in the area with loads of empty lots, train carriers with chemicals and more. All into the night we hear them going off. Consideration is not a consideration with folks blowing these off. Children, pets, PTSD. We have a Air Force Base and large amounts of veterans that live in the are.. This is pure torture for them.

The fireworks last night were ridiculous! It sounded like a war zone in Fairfield. I thought it was illegal to use fireworks in this town? I'm signing this petition because as a home owner I am sick of disregard of the law! Last year the neighbors caught my fence on fire due to illegal fireworks.
Please stop selling fireworks in Solano County.

As a senior citizen and owner of a pet who is terrified of loud noises, I would like to see fireworks sales stopped and more penalties for those who continue to use them in Solano County.

People were setting off fireworks at all times for several days before July 4. This set off car alarms, and set off dogs barking. In addition, I saw loose dogs and my cat freaked out. Adults, kids and young adults were setting off the fireworks. Some fireworks were being set off in the streets. Some side streets were being block because of the fireworks I heard sirens, but I did not see a fire department or police presence in my subdivision. People are purchasing fireworks in other cities surrounding Fairfield and are bringing the fireworks into Fairfield and they are not being responsible. The Board of Supervisors needs to reject permits for fireworks in Solano County in order to protect private and public property, streets, animals, and promote safety..

Way too many careless individuals are letting them off and putting our lives and property at risk!
