Please stop West Hennepin Auto and Tire from relocating to the property on the corner of CR-11 and CR-19, adjacent to a residential neighborhood. This would be a request for an industrial use within a general commercial zoned property. This has the potential to create additional traffic congestion and pedestrian safety issues at an already problematic intersection, and surrounding residential property values will likely decrease (per 2 realtors with over 35 cumulative years experience). Although one is currently non-operational, it would be the 3rd auto repair shop in a quarter mile stretch of CR-19 within Loretto city limits, plus another auto repair shop a half mile north on CR-19 just outside city limits, making it the 3rd operational auto repair shop within a one mile stretch of CR-19 (note: this is a correction from the previously noted 4th auto repair shop, as the recreational vehicle repair shop also within city limits is not considered auto repair). There is also a wetland on the property that would require delineation (the owner has clarified that he meant delineation instead of mitigation, as he had stated at the city council meeting in January) - minutes and video available on the city's website.

Owner has been a member of the community for 27 years and has indicated that he is willing to address questions and concerns during the process.

Please don't let our city become increasingly industrial.
