We want to petition for the City of Lakeland not to allow re-zoning. We are already over-populated on Carpenters Way with homes, apartments, senior living communities and skiled nursing facilities.

Developers plan 1,400 housing units to replace closed Wedgewood Golf Course.

The project will require some zone changes, which will be considered by the Lakeland Planning and Zoning Board on May 17.

No more development until infrastructure is in place. We have 2 lane roads in too many places that need at least 4 lanes

That is way too much housing in that space and the existing homes that valued being on a golf course will now look at construction and then housing

Carpenters Way is a small road that services too much traffic already.
