Do NOT allow approval of a zoning variance (to allow over 550 housing units including apartments) on the former Brandywine Country Club property. We, the nearby residents, are very concerned about the additional traffic on our roads. Our community wants this acreage to remain open green space for current and future generations.

At BCC Sat morn at 10:00am and within 3 min, 25 cars passed by. Can imagine how many more if this development takes place. NCC/DE, buy the property and make it a county park. How nice that would be for the residents and the many seniors who now live on Shipely Rd.

Zoning must not be changed. The land needs to be developed to reflect it's surroundings - single family homes on decent lots with large trees and green space. NCC already has poor air quality.

Our infrastructure including our schools cannot handle the additional volume. The state does not have money to make the investments needed to support the additional housing numbers proposed. Have the state begin investing before any plans are proposed.

I've grown up here and currently live here now. The expansions over the last thirty years have caused North Wilmington to be overcrowded and we need to preserve any open space we have left. I agree, a park would be better suited for this already crowded area.

Please DO NOT rezone this area. I live in Devon and have lived in N Wilm my entire life. That area of Shipley road is one of the few areas Please consider the amount of bikers, runners and school children (walkers) on an already too busy road and dont make it worse.

Capano hasn't even sold all 13 homes just a 1/4 mile north of there. We do NOT need tons more homes on Shipley Road. Bad for traffic, schools, and current residents' home values. Plus there are lots of new apartments going up on Silverside near Shipley already!

As a current homeowner in this are, I disapprove of of this project and of the idea to re-zone it. I disapprove of a main thoroughfare connection between Shipley Road and Route 202. This is a terrible idea for or community.
