We Love St. Lucas Preschool!
St. Lucas Preschool on Denny Road has been a gem in the community since its origination 37 years ago. It has served not only as a valuable tool of evangelism for the church by promoting the spread of the gospel and recruiting potential church members, but also as a nurturing environment for children to grow and learn. Parents have been drawn to this popular program (which normally has a waiting list to enroll) because of the high level of education and care provided to its children. This high standard has been set by the school's director, Joyce Woodall, and her wonderful staff of skilled and caring teachers. There have been some rumors circulating this school year of an underground movement by Church staffers to evaluate and possibly change the curriculum to a project construct or similar environment. Whether true or not, it's disheartening to think that anyone would want to come in and alter this successful program. Typically with petitions, people normally speak out if they are dissatisfied with something. Rather, couldn't we and shouldn't we use this forum to express how satisfied we are with St. Lucas Sometimes we take for granted the things in life that we are most happy with and assume they'll always be there for the next generation. The teachers at St. Lucas have dedicated a large part of their lives to the education and betterment of our children. Wouldn't it be nice to submit a little praise Don't we owe it to them Therefore, let's use this forum to praise this magnificent preschool. Hopefully the powers-that-be will see that there is a larger community of happy families who not only currently attend St. Lucas, but past parents who were satisfied with their children's academic achievements and preparedness for kindergarten. Please sign your name if you are happy with the school's curriculum AS IT IS. If you would also like to write a note to better explain your St. Lucas experience and how it benefited your children, we'd love it if you shared. Thank you! ALTHOUGH THE FORM ASKS FOR YOUR EMAIL, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED FOR PUBLIC VIEWING ON THE SIGNATURES PAGE NOR SHARED WITH ANY OUTSIDE PARTIES. Once you submit, you may see a donation request screen from ipetitions.com to keep this site up and running for free. YOU CAN DISREGARD IT. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GIVE A DONATION TO HAVE YOUR SIGNATURE ACCEPTED. (Just use your back key on your browser to go back to the petition or close the window all together). If you choose to give a donation, the money goes to the website, not the Church- just so there is no confusion. Thanks!
