this is picking up way more steam than i ever expected and its amazing to see so many people getting behind the idea. honestly reading through why everyone wants this day off has been the highlight of my week.

The celebration in every town and village, and by fellow-countrymen living beyond Offa's Dyke, Hadrian's Wall and the White Cliffs, is highly desirable. We need to sustain links with Members of Parliament like Greg Mulholland, Andrew Rosindell, Tom Watson and Norman Tebbit.
We should celebrate our national day the same way as other proud and historical nations celebrate theirs. Let the world see once again how welcoming and inclusive this grat country and its people are.
Yes St George's Day must be created a Public Holiday and soon. We need to 'replant the flag' and spend the day reminding the rest that we are 'alive and kicking'.

Our patron Saint should be celebrated as are the patron saints of, in no particular order, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Mr Cameron if you truly are a member of a Conservative & Unionist party take note.
