My kids have such a fun time doing crafts and wearing green at school. It really should be a stat holiday so families can celebrate together without using a vacation day.
I mean why not? Other countries do it. St pattys is the best day of the year anyway.
Bout time we got another day off in march. Winters are too long here
We already get holidays for way less important things!! Irish pride!! ☘️
Living in Newfoundland this is basically a holiday already lol. Time to make it legit for the rest of Canada!

I have been in Canada for 11 years and always need to take to the day off work..not for a day to drink al day etc but to attend a special mass and meet up with friends and family and celebrate out heritage!! It is a holiday at home and with the number of Irish in Toronto! It should def be a holiday! The whole world celebrates it!
