A great leader and the most present leader I have ever encountered. Regularly see him around the multiple campuses talking to employees and assessing the “pulse” and morale of the organization. I’ve been blessed to have a few wonderful conversations with him. I stand behind Dr Weiss .
I have had the distinct pleasure of working under the leadership of Dr. Weiss and Kevin Cooper for 12 years. I have and will continue to describe them as visionary and transparent leaders who remain focused on the people of this community (patient centered care, quality of care, Blue Zone, Safe & Healthy Children's Coalition, etc.). Our leaders care about me and they care about YOU.
It is unfortunate that the community dialogue has moved away from the core business of the hospital which is helping everyone live a longer and happier life. Dr. Weiss and Kevin Cooper are passionate executives who are focused on leading a great healthcare system to excellence. As a member of the team, I know our decisions are always patient centered. To that end, I am proud of their leadership, the entire executive team and every employee who delivers amazing care to this community,
I have seen the results, the patient outcomes on the pilot floors has been amazing. This is being totally misrepresented in the media and by NCH's opponents . Patients and families always have a physician available for them. That personalized attention has not been seen in hospitals for years. This is not about control and it certainly isn't about money as there is a lot of added costs. It has and always will be about the patient. I've worked in some of the top academic medical centers in the country and the commitment the Dr. Weiss has for this community and the patients NCH serves is genuine. Don't let the noise get in the way of that message.
I stand with nch and our pilot program. With this new program we have access to doctors all day long versus waiting on a call from a busy primary care doctor. It is not fair for a good thing to be ruined when so many of our patients are seasonal or don’t have insurance.
I love NCH and how they support the community and put patient care 1st!
NCH is a good hospital with a good plan for the future. My family and I had very good care there. We stand with the CEO & Board.

I am proud to be part of the NCH team and support its leadership in the midst of the disgusting ploys and character assassination. NCH is committed to outstanding patient care for Southwest Florida.
