We stand with our principal Nora Houseman and want her to remain principal of San Francisco Community School. We believe she shows sound professional judgment and deep dedication to students, families and staff. She is a tremendous leader and we are committed to her return to SFC as our principal.
In 2012, the staff of San Francisco Community School unanimously chose Nora Houseman as our principal, and today we continue to stand 100% united behind her. On a daily basis, she shows sound professional judgment, a deep dedication to SFC’s students, families, and staff, and an unparalleled work ethic in providing support to every student and staff member at our school. In her eight years with SFC, four years in the classroom and four years as our principal, she has shown her loyalty to our community. Her tireless work toward excellence and equity, often in the face of daunting challenges, has been both effective and inspiring. We believe that there is no one better qualified to lead our school than Nora.
We the undersigned urge SFUSD to return Nora Houseman as principal of SF Community School as soon as possible so that she can lead our school into the 2016-17 school year. Thank you for your consideration.

THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND SHOWS JUST HOW MUCH WE BELIEVE IN NORA!! THE ENERGY BEHIND OUR CAUSE IS GROWING DEEPER AND STRONGER EVERY SINGLE DAY!!

Nora has always been a great support during my transition from working at SFC and still continuing to be a part of the community. Nora is a person who demonstrates harmony, leadership, community and dedication to youth all in one.
I wish to keep Nora as the school head teacher. She is so good with the kids, families and people who work at SFC. Thank you!
