As we've found out recently, Miss Great Britain have stripped Zara Holland of her title and crown as Miss GB because she had sex on tv. People have defended and argued with Miss Great Britain all over Twitter, calling them sexist and old fashioned and Caroline Flack herself even suggested they were living in the dark ages. Fair enough she had sex on tv, but so have many other girls; she got drunk, she fancied a guy, one thing led to another and it is a NORMAL thing to do. She woke up the next day and clearly shown regret (even though this is nothing to regret), yet Miss Great Britain have shown they don't take regret into account.

I get a petition might be too far, and I'm not expecting anything to come of it, however I want to make a stand and show Miss Great Britain that to remove Zara's crown is disgusting and extremely old fashioned. So sign up, even if you don't watch Love Island, and show Miss Great Britain that role model's for women of all ages include a 20 year old girl, who is sexually empowered and goes after what and who she wants. A role model should not be a woman who feels scared and insecure to do what she wants because someone who gave her a title and a crown says she cannot. This 2016, not 1916.
