An assistant producer on the popular daytime television program 'This Morning' has proposed a segment in which three women volunteers will have their boyfriend's semen spread on their faces as part of an "exciting new facial trend".

I feel, and I hope you will agree, that this broadcast is entirely degrading and a huge step backwards in terms of portraying a positive view of female rights and respect in the media. I agree that any women who volunteer for the segment are well within their rights to make their own decision, however I fear that they may not be fully aware or concerned about the underlying message which may be received by many viewers across the country.

Sexual objectification and exploitation are serious issues which are very much still present in our society, and I worry that the broadcast will not only cause humiliation but enable the sexual degradation of humans to appear trivial and potentially even comical.

This petition is to help prevent this segment being broadcasted, or the use of women volunteers to be removed. Although I understand that the segment is targeted towards beauty conscious women, I do not see the necessity of their presence within it and feel that the use of male volunteers having their own bodily fluid spread on their face can portray the same point.

Many thanks for your interest.

It is true that everybody has the right to do as they wish, but we have to take in consideration the message and the consequences that will follow after each action we take.

how could this be an exciting facial trend? I have never heard something so ludicrous.
