Adam Crozier (C.E.O ITV)

In the world that we live in, it is unbelievable that anyone would encourage (let alone condone) the kind of blatant misogyny and borderline sexual harassment that is being willingly shown by ITV. "Dapper laughs" is encouraging the mistreating of women in the form of crude cat calls and forced sexual advances, be it physical or through public humiliation. It is unacceptable of ITV to promote this kind of sexist behaviour. How would you feel if the girl being humiliated on the show was your daughter? If we accept this kind of behaviour on television, we condone this kind of behaviour in the real world. I for one do not want the sons of our generation to grow up with this derogatory view of the women around them.

So we ask that you remove this programme from your channel as we find it extremely offensive and have gathered our voices to collectively agree that we do not want to see this on our televisions.

The massive surge in support for this petition shows that people refuse to let ITV normalize this pathetic misogyny. Adam Crozier needs to stop hiding behind his network and realize that we are done watching his channel promote harassment. Keep pushing until they pull this garbage off the air.

We just hit 100 signatures and ITV needs to know that we are not going to tolerate this filth on our screens. Adam Crozier thinks he can profit from degrading women but he is dead wrong.

As a teacher I am horrified by the impact this could have on the impressionable boys and girls that I work with. Reducing women to a 'piece of c**t' is not ok.

I can take a joke, but the creation of a platform upon which Dapper Laughs may spread his 'wisdom' is unbelievable. The show gives a sense of legitimacy and entitlement to his views that has already proved it's potency in brainwashing both men and women, that this behaviour is acceptable.

a show that opens the door to rape culture and invites the target group (see: easily influenced young men) inside. Flagrant sexism and harrasment throughout, and is basically despicable in every way. w

I didn't realise we'd gone back to the 70s. Prats like 'Dapper' normalise this unacceptable behaviour and I can't believe there's a TV show dedicated to him. Show some respect for half the world's population, please.

I love comedy, I don't expect to like ALL comedy. I have no problem with comedy I don't like being made, as it would be arrogant of me to expect to have everything to my taste. What I do want is for comedy not to set society back several decades. We're better than this.

The fact that ITV2 not only provides a platform for misogyny, but is also prepared to publicly argue that DL is actually respectful to women speaks volumes about this broadcaster.
