Stallings Glen Neighborhood - Safety on our Roads (Harrisburg, NC 28075)
The neighborhood of Stalling Glen of Harrisburg NC 28075 are petitioning to acquire speed bumps on Deer Drive and Quail Hollow Drive. These safety measures are to ensure safety for our community and reduce the traffic flow from surrounding neighborhoods. We need a 70% homeowners approval to petition for this to become into effect and start the planning and cost process.

I have spent this week walking our streets and listening to so many of you share your genuine fears about cars speeding past your front doors. Your stories about close calls with children playing outside remind me exactly why I started this effort to protect our families. I am currently compiling your feedback to present to the neighborhood board as we prepare for the next phase of our planning.

Seeing this level of support from my neighbors makes me feel like our streets can actually be safe for our kids again. We have finally reached the momentum needed to force the city to take notice of our daily fears.

We need speed bumps on Deer Dr. The road is not safe for children or those walking, jogging or bicycling.
I definitely support speed bumps on Deer Drive and Quail Hollow Drive. There are far too many young children and pets in our neighborhood for speeders!

I am all for the speed bumps, people use it as a shortcut and fly through here. I see a few school buses going way too fast through here also.
