We kindly ask for your support in our application for re-development of our parish church in Greenslopes. For over 32 years, we have patiently and faithfully worked towards renovating and improving the facilities at St Maroun’s Maronite Catholic Church and now we have finally submitted an application for a Development Approval with the Brisbane City Council. Being a parishioner with young grandchildren, I really look forward to a safer environment for the kids. A parents’ room and childcare facilities are both eagerly awaited. Better parking will really ease the pressure on the neighbourhood as well.
Our families worked so hard to get this church off the ground over 30 years ago. This redevelopment is long overdue and absolutely essential. Better parking is a must, not only for the parishioners but also for the neighbours.
I support the redevelopment of St Maroun’s Church. This is my Parish & has been for many years. I would love to see the church have more access for the disabled and elderly parishioners. Our parish has outgrown this church & the redevelopment would see us able to attend church with more ease.
I fully support the new building of Saint maroun Brisbane Catholic church which doesn't harm the area or anything around. Building an underground car park will reduce traffic and congestion off the street. The childcare will provide more opportunities for workers seeking a job.
Please support our Lebanese community in the rebuild of our Church. Our community revolves around our Church and our faith - it is so important to a people who have suffered so much - please lend your support!
That will be a great event.

This little church has serviced our family and our parish for many, many years. We have outgrown this church now and it is times for an upgrade. And what a beautiful upgrade it will be. The community and our parishioners will both benefit from this. It’s win/win.
