Penn State has the second highest tuition rates for state funded schools. As Penn State students, we should have the right to have free fitness memberships because we are already paying such a large amount. The government has been emphasizing how important it is to get at least thirty minutes of exercise a day. How are we suppose to be getting our exercise if we have to pay $110 for a membership on top of tuition, housing, textbooks, and meals? I am proposing Penn State students should be getting free memberships for the three fitness facilities on campus. Please sign this petition to prove to Student Affairs that this is a topic that students are passionate about. Signing this petition will prove that you are willing to start a movement for free fitness for all (Penn State students).

Tuition is already way too high here. paying extra to use a gym that we basically paid for already is a joke. fix this

I completely agree!!! Our tax dollars helped to build PSU! PSU should NOT be charging extra for students to get valuable exercise! If other Big 10 schools provide gym use to their students at no extra cost, so can PSU!
