Does your daily parking routine stress you out? Did you wait over 2 years (and now likely 4 years) to get into the garage? Do you jet out between meetings to move your car between 2-hour parking spots? Do you often end up with parking tickets? Do you ever feel unsafe walking to your car at night because you have had to park far away from the SSC?

Let me start by saying that I LOVE working at Starbucks. I love my fellow partners and the mission we all share every day when we enter that building. I feel proud to say I work at Starbucks and appreciate all of the perks that come along with being a partner. What I don't love is that parking has become a nightmare. And, I don't think I am alone. We do not have a parking SOLUTION for SSC partners. We have parking options, and I would argue, not even very good ones, especially if you have kids that you have to pick up and/or drop off each day.

Together, we can change this. Time and again I hear that it is at the top of the priority list, so let's create the tipping point! By signing this petition, join me in calling on the Store Development & Global Real Estate department, headed by Michael Malanga, to come up with - and present to all SSC partners - a comprehensive, sustainable and fairly-priced parking solution, before the end of the 2014 calendar year.
