As Equity Members of SRGBC, we were disappointed by the Board’s recent decision to implement a “walking fee” for Equity Members. Given that we pay monthly dues and the Board's recent statement that the Club is in excellent financial condition, the implementation of a divisive “walking fee" is deemed unnecessary. We, hereby, request that the Board reconsider this decision.

We looked all over FL before joining Santa Rosa - mainly because we could walk the course. Walking fees come up periodically and the membership loudly protests. This is an equity club and the board needs to get member input before implementing such a decision.

Raising the cart fee and introducing a walking fee is a decision that is without merit. Raise the dues and increase cart fees for outside play if money is the issue. Our northern guest have lost over seeding and are now hit with a walking fee in addition to a 12 monthly bill cycle for 5 months of play. Member satisfaction matters!!!!!!

Several of the members have decided if this fee continues we will cut back on expenses at Mulligans and The Vue.

We have been equity members since 1988. Walking SRGBC is the reason many join, and the walking fee is very tacky. Are we becoming a muni. Is this the Directors plan?

We have been equity members since 1995 and have seen many changes, but through the years we were assured by many candidates running for the board that they would not support " a walking fee." In the July board minutes a " walking fee was mentioned" but board felt that this would cause a lot of backlash. At what meeting was this brought up again? We also ask that the board reconsider the walking fee!

Walking should be promoted not penalized. Never seen a equity club charge a walking fee.

process for making this decision? Why no financial statement and long range plan as rationale?
