I believe it is time for a change to the traffic light operation at the intersection of State Road 23 and Argyle Forest Boulevard. It has been unsafe with many vehicle accidents for too long.
I propose to change the east and west-bound lanes of Argyle Forest Blvd to a red light after the green arrows to turn left are finished. It will be a small inconvenience in return for traffic safety.
It is impossible to see vehicles continuing straight through the light on Argyle Forest Blvd from the opposite direction after the turn-left green arrows change to a green-yield light, and the left turn lanes start filling up with cars.
The red light change following the left green arrows (east and west-bound Argyle Forest Blvd) will significantly decrease (and hopefully, prevent) the possibility and likelihood of future accidents.

The Department of Transportation continues to ignore our warnings while more crashes happen at this death trap. I am sick of the excuses from these bureaucrats who sit behind desks while our neighbors get hurt on the road.

The massive surge in support proves that we are all tired of risking our lives at this intersection because the city refuses to fix a simple timing error. The Department of Transportation can no longer ignore this dangerous hazard while we keep tallying up the accidents they are causing.

Lived in Oakleaf for many years now and I have seen more accidents here than I have anywhere else in the USA and I have lived many places. This needs to be fixed. I'm always worried when driving through this intersection. That is saying something.
This intersection needs to change! I had a close call with a very young motorcyclist and his female rider. They couldn't see me & if I hadn't been going way under the speed limit to break suddenly - they would be DEAD. Accidents at THIS intersection are a FREQUENT occurrence! Enough is enough.
I'd rather wait an additional 5 seconds for traffic to clear out than to hear one more precious person was killed because of this intersection. Change the light system! Help us be safer in this area PLEASE!
My 8 year old son just lost his school friend on 7/10/17 due to the traffic pattern and green yield when turning left due to blind spots. I have had to slam on breaks several of times going strait through this intersection as well due to these blind spots when people are turning left.
Absolutely the most dangerous intersection that I travel through. Sight line is terrible when there is traffic waiting to turn in both directions. Simple solution would be to dissolve the green arrow turning left / right and only allow turning when through traffic is stopped in both directions.
There has been so many accidents at this intersection. I change is definitely needed.

This is an essential change to protect the lives of those driving in the area. The record of recent accidents, including the fatal injury of a young child on 7-10-17, supports the need for a change to the light operation to prohibit left-hand turns on a green-yield signal.
