The council has officially approved the Splash Bay Waterpark project. This outcome represents a significant shift for the future of our harbour precinct and I am deeply grateful for the community conviction that brought us here. We will continue to monitor the development as it progresses toward construction.

Finally some progress for our town. Tired of having to drive so far for good family activities.
Looks like a great plan. Would love to see this built while my kids are still young enough to enjoy it.
About time we got something decent down at the harbour. Hope it gets the green light.
This would be so good for the kids in summer. We really need more stuff like this in Urangan.
YES PLEASE. would bring so many tourists to the bay!

I fully support this venture and believe it will provide positive benefits for the Hervey Bay region.
