At Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School, we have a number of unique clubs and sports teams. Each club or team puts in effort to design the best club/team wear they can. Although we are proud of what we take part in, we are not able to show it, since these clothes are not part of uniform. This petition (after being signed by all Abbey students) is to be sent to the principle of Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School in hope of starting change in the uniform policy regarding club and team wear.
I am truly humbled by how many of you have stopped to share your stories about why our club and team spirit matters. Your experiences have shown me that this is about much more than just a dress code. I am currently reaching out to faculty to see how we can best present these thoughts to the administration.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum behind this. It is clear that so many of you feel the same way about our school spirit, and it is all thanks to your efforts that this is gaining real traction.

Even though team/club sweaters are not "uniform", they r still part of the school, so I think we should be able to wear them.
