to: sefton council We, the undersigned hereby request that the speed cushions installed/erected on Rufford Road and Bankfield Lane be removed/amended due to the fact that they are proving ineffective in lowering vehicle speed in this area and that they are causing congestion and higher that normal volume of traffic during peak hours in the surrounding areas as well as vibration and noise to homes and property in the immediate vicinity. We are extremely concerned that the recent and dramatic fall in business is due to the implementation of these speed cushions and furthermore fear a bleak future for our businesses should they remain in place.
