I agree that the new playground equipment installed at South Tyrol Park doesn't match the scale of the playground equipment previously installed and that it should be either replaced or augmented with new equipment designed to match the previous scale.

This is a missed opportunity in my mind. There are so many creative solutions. I hope we are able to take advantage of our creativity.
The playground equipment does not meet the needs of our older children, and should be supplemented.

It seems to me a lot of work, money and disruption went into the park that did not create a significant improvement. Half of basketball court was sacrificed only to include a small shelter and add back sparse playground equipment designed for very young children only. I support improvements that would appeal to broader park usage.
