the district office is still ignoring my emails about Dorchester but I keep replaying the vision of those empty classrooms in my head because it just feels wrong to let the quiet win. I have been spending my nights digging through old planning documents to find any loophole that keeps our doors open past this cycle and it is honestly exhausting but the stories people keep leaving are fueling me.

This beautiful little school has fostered many minds of children. To lose such a truly wonderful school would be a real shame. We are losing too many rural schools that foster each and every child inside its walls. I have many fond memories of this school and its wonderful teachers.

My stepson is currently a student at DCS, we noticed a significant improvement in his grades since moving to a smaller school. I also have a 5month old and had hoped she would also be able to attend DCS. I think the school is extremely important part of our community.

I would not be who I am today without Dorchester School's special brand of education; one with imagination and heart like only a rural school can provide. To close this school would be devastating to the community. Support rural New Brunswick by supporting rural schools.

Since January we drive from Sackville so our daughter can attend this amazing school! Please keep it open, as smaller community school are essential for many children who will otherwise fall through the cracks of our system.
