we actually pulled it off and the high life scheme is staying exactly where it belongs. im honestly so stoked that we stood our ground and kept the doors open for everyone. lets just keep an eye on things to make sure the promise holds up down the road.

We the undersigned strongly disagree with the decision by Macdonald Hotels & Resorts to terminate the High Life scheme.

For the last six years, local residents have been able to access the excellent swimming facilities offered by the Aviemore Highland Resort at affordable rates through the High Life Highland scheme, a council-funded scheme.

The High Life scheme costs local residents £23.60 a month for access to the facilities. With the termination of the scheme on 31st March 2012, the cost of using these facilities will be out of reach for most residents.

Please sign the petition asking Macdonald Hotels to reconsider its decision so that local residents and their children can continue to have access to a local swimming pool at reasonable rates.

Thank you

We need the pool, I use it regularly for leisure and health reasons not to have access to a 25m pool would have a big impact upon the local community for all ages

Local families need this. Its so unfair to take it away.

Ridiculous decision. This place is the only real option for exercise in aviemore during the winter months.
